Before you start measuring, make sure you have a tape measure on hand. This will help ensure that you get accurate measurements for your window well.
Step 2: Measure Your Window Well
To measure your window well, you need to find the height and width.
The height can usually be measured from above, while sticking the tape measure down into the well, or from standing inside the window well or basement measuring up.
For the width, place the tape measure against the inside of the window well from one edge to the other. Your measuring tape should form a “U” shape around the window well.
These measurements can often be taken easily from the ground above the well, in some cases it’s easier from inside. You decide!
Step 3: Find Your Size
Depending on the measurement you get, you’ll know which size Wonder Well Insert to choose.
